Much nail-biting. As of this writing, Florida is the lynchpin -- whoever wins Florida, will be our next president. I have to admit, I'm nervous. The next president will likely get to seat at least 2 justices of the Supreme Court. And if they are conservative enough, Roe v. Wade could be a distant memory. Am I being alarmist? Maybe. But I would just as soon have a moderate to liberal justice on the highest court of this nation, thank you very much. This action will affect this country for decades to come, long after this next guy's out of office.
Fiscally, I'm becoming as conservative as they come (
Alex Bennett once said that homeownership makes you a Republican -- and I'm beginning to see his point). But personal freedom is not something I am willing to offer up in exchange.
