Yesterday was an absolutely horrific day. I was not cut out to be in charge of things related to books and employees. I goofed up some state tax forms and life is about to get interesting in the Chinese curse sense of the word.

It's raining. Which should not be a big surprise to anyone who knows anything about the Pacific Northwest. But it seems to be magnifying and intensifying my somber, sad mood. Add to that the impending [doom] Christmas season, where there's no way I'll be able to be as generous as I would like to... I really do just want to go home and curl up into bed.
