I can't imagine how difficult and painful it must be to watch someone that you love more than life itself fall ill and slowly die before your eyes, beyond your control and beyond your ability to affect change. How dreadful and unfair it must seem, when you pledged yourself "'til death do us part" but you couldn't imagine that the parting would be anything more than a full lifetime together.

Peace and love to M. And a small reminder to all of us to never take what you have today for granted.
