I often wonder what makes a song pop unexpectedly into one's head. I don't mean the times when a circumstance causes an association to a song (like reading a story with a character named "Lemon" makes you think of U2's song of the same name). I mean the other day, out of nowhere, "Land" by Duran Duran just popped into my head. I really can't think why it would. I haven't listened to the album it's on in a long time. It's not one that was ever released as a single and therefore unlikely I caught it on the radio. Maybe all the stress lately has finally caused me to snap. :)
