They played "Give Peace a Chance" on the radio (whether by accident or by design, I don't know). That's when I started to cry. Before that, I was just numb.

Until I can get in touch with my cousin Brian, my friend Michele, and my ex-college roommate Debbie, I won't feel totally secure.

Happy birthday Barbara, wherever you are.
