At about 10:50 yesterday morning, the power in the café simply just went out. All power within our little domain, for about 5 seconds, went out. It came right back on again, but not before completely frying the machine I used to use here behind the counter. It just won't power up. So now we're in the process of reinstalling all of our important software (like mIRC!). I mean, I know we wanted to replace the machine back here, but not quite this abruptly.
My day today got off to a rockin' start when I locked my keys in the car at the bank, on my way to open the café at noon. Andra was able to get down here to save my hide but I ran out of time to go get myself some lunch. Then I find out that the new debit card I've been using for about a week now has been taking money out of the wrong account. Hopefully, the deposits I've put in via ATM went to the account listed on the deposit slip. Oy, a headache I just didn't need.
