The thrift stores around here have all decided to be competitve on the last day of the month and offer 50% off anything (used) in the store. I took a stroll around our very large Goodwill yesterday when I spotted something that I think I would never ever buy used: an ant farm. I don't even want to contemplate why it's at a thrift store. Have those little things breached the hull previously? Come to think of it, I doubt I'd ever buy one new either. Intentionally foster a colony of those useful somewhere in nature but undoubtedly pestiferous critters
inside my house? Nothin' doin'.
I did, however, buy a comfy sagegreen linen jumper for $3. I'm just a natural fiber junkie at heart.
