Today was one of those mornings where I would have gladly stayed curled up in bed. Would have phoned in sick if I could. I'm not desperately ill, just generally tired. And I have to go this meeting tonight which is bound to feel a lot like cat herding. Feh.
The other day I was scoping out sites to get a feel for what a 20 gig IDE hard drive that would fit into
my iBook would cost. In the past when I've needed to replace a drive it's always had to be SCSI interface, and those have always been rather spendy, so I was floored to see how cheap IDEs are comparatively. Mind you, I have zero extra cash for something as frivolous as a hard drive. So, the same universe that granted me
MTV2 via antenna apparently thinks it will be helpful by suddenly causing Norton Disk Doctor to freeze up with an "unexpected error" during the media check and refuses to do an optimization because it thinks there's a media error.
