I got the weirdest thing in the mail yesterday, a letter reminding me that I have Mongol Jewelry by Martha Boyer on layaway with them, that the balance due is X, and I could pick it up at a couple of upcoming events. The thing is, I paid for and picked up that book in July of 2001.

... the hell?
