random stupidity
- My toe hurts.
- Eugene Celebration ended up being dreadful for business. That's what happens when an entire venue that supposed to be across the street never materializes.
- However, the PR factor was indeed positive.
- Even if it meant I didn't get a real weekend.
- Another relative (this time, great-uncle) is in the hospital with a fairly grave prognosis. It is not a good year for my elderly relatives.
- My keys, which I searched the house yesterday morning (while it was still dark, mind you) for before finally giving up, were found who-knows-where by my cleaning-frenzy roommate.
- Mercury is retrograde. It shows.
- Anyone got about $3k on short notice? Didn't think so.
- They're playing Dead Can Dance on the radio right now ("American Dreaming"). See, it's not all bad.
- I ended up watching "Crossing Jordan" on TV because CBS comes in for shit on the TV downstairs (and, since I had to steal An's housekeys to get in, I had to wait up to let her in after the monthly SCA meeting). I'd much rather have been watching "CSI: Miami". I've never wanted to slap a TV character as badly as I did last night. How did this show make it to season #2?
is
this just not enough…?
