Well, I survived the experience of calling the Good Mortgage Company. They're absolute peaches.
As I mentioned in the comments from yesterday, the other mortgage company, it seems, truly is Evil. Seems they are well-known for their predatory practices and are referred to as the King of Foreclosures.
Check out this post and the followups. Most of what these people are talking about, they've done to us as well. I'm going to speak to people about this, believe me.
Doesn't look like I'm going to be able to make it to Portland tonight. Not only do I not have anyone to go with, but my car is being uncooperative. Sigh.
