weekend
Was pretty good, though tiring. We'd leave site too late and then a half hour drive and shower and bed and be up again by 7 to get back out there for late breakfast. I hear Friday was unbearably hot, and it rained some on Saturday night and Sunday morning. Aside from this, the weather was fairly pleasant.
I was a little bored though, and as always the setup (which we weren't as involved in) and tear down (which we were, ugh) makes me have to chant
We do this for fun repeatedly until I start to believe it. See, the event part I like. The camping / roughing it part, I do not.
Life with the new cat continues to be interesting. If he pees on something one more time — and always while standing in front of us. I'm sure it's insecurity issues but if he's still doing this a month from now, I'll be looking to liquidate my investment, if you catch my drift. (I already have a possibility lined up, just in case.)
I'm glad it's a short week. I'm not sure how much more week I could take.
