new frames, and an open letter to the universe

For the first time in five years I've got an eye exam, and it's tomorrow. The exciting and frustrating part of this is the choosing of the new frames. I really like the frames I have for being made of super-light titanium and not having any tiny screws that can fall out, but the years (and the chemicals in hair dye) have taken their toll on these poor things, so it is time to choose anew. An and I went to Costco on Monday night to try some on, since I have to go to the appointment alone and I can't choose frames by myself because duh, I can't see myself in them. I have it narrowed down to three or four, so we will see what the insurance will cover and what can be afforded.

Also:

Dear Universe:
I would either like a.) more time or b.) more money (preferably b.), but with no tragedy (such as death or disaster) involved in order for this small fortune to be delivered to me). Thank you.
Signed,
sandra
