still alive
1.) Working at the new job has sucked my life away. It's not too bad, and I'm improving. This is good.
2.) A weekly paycheck that effectively doubles the household income? Definately of the good. Which leads to…
3.) Promising new refinance process is in progress. The guy we're working with is aware of the extreme time crunch. I have a good feeling about this.
4.) My daft little kitty Rowan got one of her, um, canine teeth knocked out in a scuffle in the upstairs bathroom with Arwen. I mean cleanly, root and all, and that takes talent. We kept an eye on her to make sure the socket didn't abcess, but aside from cutting her top lip on the bottom tooth that now sticks out a little too far, she's fine. She looks awfully funny when she yawns thought.
5.) Still no hispeed net at home. My practical though somewhat pessimistic side says to wait until the house stuff is ironed out because really, it's kind of silly to have it installed if we are forced to turn around and move out. (I said it was pessimistic, didn't I?)
6.) I am extremely far behind in my usual net haunts and for that I am sorry. I miss you all. Once we're hispeed and networked, look out, world. :)
