um, wow.

It's been a while since I wrote anything here, but I just don't seem to have the time, and am not inclined to be so public with life details anymore. Anyway. Happy 2008!

Biggest news of last year was that I got a new job in July. Back in tech support for corporate customers instead of consumers. It's weird to be doing it again, but it pays very well and has good benefits, and that goes a long way. Actually, if anyone's looking for a job in support, let me know--my department is hiring.

Moved again Sept. 2006, then got a kitten in October 2006. She's going to be 2 in March, April, or thereabouts. Still have the older girls, too, which is weird, because they're like 13 and 12. Kitten keeps them on their toes. Speaking of the cats, about a year ago one of the older cats almost died because of a dental-related infection. She had to have about 6 teeth extracted including her upper two canines, but at least we didn't lose her. She kind of looks like a bulldog now with her lower canines protruding though. It's cute.

Well... I can't think of anything else to say. Until next time!

Hello-
I was searching around for some of those Duran Duran images from back in the hey day- the "Tiger Beat" type pull out posters that decorated my wood panelled bed room circa 1982-1989...along with a cat wearing glasses with the quote "too smart to study and too cute to care" or something like that-lol...it brings back memories that I'd long left behind, what a more innocent time, I think we(teens then) were much more naive than the kids now. We actually looked 12 or 15 when we were 12 or 15, now kids look 25 at age 15! ah well...I wish I could tap my heels and go back. lol so just felt like saying hi, I too was into Nick Rhodes- I look now and am like..wow, why not Simon or the gorgeous John Taylor, lol. I was all about Mr. Rhodes- bugged my Mom with my scrapbooks of the band. I too have kitties and so just seemed we would have had alot in common! I wore this white blazer, thought I was sooo cool, so Nick Rhodes- but I ended up with the lovely nickname of "The Mad Scientist" as apparently MY particular jacket was more Lab coat chic than pop star cool. Ah the good old days. lol
