Other Works By Mr. Bantock

Of the other works by Mr. Bantock, I own a few others outside the realm of this trilogy.

I highly recommend The Egyptian Jukebox, which is a puzzle you have to solve to find where the elusive, eccentric millionaire Hamilton Hasp has disappeared to. Ten 'drawers', ten puzzles, one final solution. Lots of gorgeous paintings, especially of Egyptian deities (I have a special affinity for Bast). I found it not particularly easy, but after months of labouring I came up with the solution (and you can't strongarm the solution out of me, so don't try ;) ). (Between the trilogy and this book, I'd wager that Mr. Bantock has a fascination with Egypt, or at least with ceremonial spinning tops. :)) I will say that the solution will leave you groaning.

Kubla Khan: it's extremely interesting, the paintings are beautiful, and it makes me want to find his other pop-up books.

The Venetian's Wife: you can read about via the bookstore appearance page. Honestly, I did like it. Now for the free time to re-read it and re-review it.

Capolan, the commemorative booklet done for the Postal Service (of the Capolan people, I imagine): it's well done, very amusing, and, as I have discovered from the author, totally fictional. :) I think I like it more now…

The Forgetting Room: You can read an updated review I wrote here, outlining the reasons why, upon a second read, it is far more than I initally thought it to be.

The Museum at Purgatory: far and away my favourite story books beside the trilogy. It delves into the spiritual, metaphysical, philosophical… and is beautiful to look at too. Highly recommended, go get one right now! ;)

The Artful Dodger: Autobiography / Art book. Excellent.
