Been busier than I can convey. One ray of sunshine has been redesigning this website. I was so terribly bored with it and with the look... and the words seemed so trite. Of course, in a month from now I will probably look through this and say the exact same thing.
I think I found myself drawn to this particular look for many reasons. I've become so involved with the SCA lately, so in-touch with tangible paper and pens and ink, that I think I wanted to convey that in this digital world. Plus, look at the only non-me section of this site to get its own button: Nick Bantock's books. Totally about a tangible experience.
So a lot more of my family is on the web now, way more than was even a year or so ago. My parents have a PC and email, as does my sister and her family... so I guess I will have to stop describing the blood sacrifices. JUST KIDDING! Of course I'll go right on describing them! (For the humour-impaired, that was a joke. A joke, son!)
That's about it for right now. Come on, a whole new SITE isn't enough??? ;)

Weekends are over wayyyyy too fast. Not a bad weekend, would have been better if not for utter, abject physical misery (did I mention that I neeeeeever exaggerate?). I have a knot the size of Delaware between my shoulderblades, and apparently two knots along the bottom of my ribcage that may just be sausages hiding out down there. Feh!
Sprung and bought a ladder -- can now change the lightbulbs in the living room. Oh sure, go ahead and laugh. These things are exciting when you own a home. Having the CD player functional again is also a Very Good Thing -- it was the Vas / Loreena McKennitt-athon yesterday afternoon.
Sad thing is, I will probably be in bed by 9pm. 5:30 am comes way too soon (I work in the mornings at the café).
